exceet Group AG (St. Gallen, Switzerland), one of the leading suppliers of embedded electronics and card-based security solutions, acquired the Austrian company CONTEC Steuerungstechnik & Automation Gesellschaft m.b.H. on May 4, 2011. With this acquisition exceet further extends its technological know-how and development skills. The newly acquired company, based in Ebbs, Tyrol, produces highly complex electronics and provides innovative solutions with a main focus on medical technology.
